I have always been struck by the emotion and love involved between father and daughter on this monumental day. Capturing the unrehearsed, raw interaction between "daddy and his little girl" has always fascinated me. The tight bond and genuine love for one another transforms me into a sentimental, weepy mess. Kelly and Scott's wedding was no exception.
Kelly's father's speech brought tears to the eyes of most of the guests as well as my own. It was beautifully written, eloquently delivered and the most genuine account of a father's love for his daughter that I have ever heard. My words don't do it justice. It had to be heard to be believed.
