Mary and David

I love shooting weddings, and I especially love to be caught by surprise with little details such as Mary's bright blue Manolos on her wedding day.

I enjoyed shooting this wedding in particular, not only for the fun small details, but the gorgeous lighting.

Enjoy!

Jenn and Jessi

Jenn and Jessi were a great couple- I enjoyed shooting their wedding this past summer. It's always great when we have two photographers on hand, who can capture both the bride and groom getting ready.

Thanks for visiting!

Sarah and Frank- Bridal Portrait with a Furry Friend

Sarah and I had a wonderful time shooting her bridal portrait at the lovely Mill at Fine Creek (www.millatfinecreek.com) in Powhatan.
This session, however, was a little different from most as Frank, Sarah's bulldog, joined us (in tuxedo no less!) for several of the shots.
Enjoy!

Saved for a rainy day...

On a rainy day such as this, I thought it would be nice to reflect back on sunnier times. Every summer, my family and I spend time in the Outerbanks of North Carolina.

This year, the kids had fun letting their mom take a few photos of them playing and enjoying the beach.

Enjoy!

Carrie and Ryan- A very Richmond wedding

Carrie and Ryan were a great couple- you can see that they enjoyed adding certain fun elements to their Big Day. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to shoot at Artworks on Hull Street (http://www.artworksrichmond.com/).

After the ceremony, we took a Trolley (Winn Transportation- http://www.winnbus.com/) to Monument Avenue to shoot the wedding party by the statues. Keep an eye out for more of those photos in a separate blog about incorporating the sites and sounds of Richmond, into your wedding day.
Special thanks to my Associate Photographers Caron Sterling and Travis Ely for assisting me.
